Early start around 7.30 joined a few vehicles heading along SH94 to Milford Sound, spotted a rainbow felt this was a good omen. Road closures to be updated along the way. Through rainforest canopies , past small holdings in remote open scrub land beautiful views . We pressed on praying the road would be open . The rivers through the ravines had caused low cloud. On the roadside free camp sites lupins and foxgloves everywhere, so pretty . Reached the rock fall in the road, see photo.
