Found camp site will stay for two nights. After lunch decided to try to walk to Huka Falls, trailing alongside the Wairoa River and the thermal springs where lots of young people were bathing in the warm waters. Sadly I found the walk too much so we turned back after walking for about an hour. Did take a paddle in the river to cool my feet !!
