Hello peps,
Well we are in Invercargill. On the way down we went to Porpoise Bay but didn't see any dolphins, just are luck! Then move on to Curio Bay which has a fossilised forest which was created here 180million years ago. You can see fossilised tree stumps and logs. Really cool to see especially seeing as they're all millions and millions of years old. You just can't get your head around it. We only took one photo though as we were getting attacked and bitten by lots of sand flies, horrible things! It was still good though. Then we went to Slope Point which is the southern most point of the South Island. It was a nice walk through sheep fields so had to mind all the poo :o) Then we carried on to Invercargill and found the best motel we've stayed in yet. It was supposed to be $120 but the owner did it for $100 cos we're so nice. It was like a house as it had 2 floors with large TV's and a massive bathroom. We only stayed one night though as Invercargill has nothing really to see or do. It was just a sleep over stop. But we did go to a park which was very nice with a long duck pond and loads of ducks, it was funny.
Tomorrow we're not sure where we'll stop yet but hey, never mind :o)
