Hello everybody,

We are now in Ashburton and drove here via Akaroa. Akaroa is a lovely part and is like a little French town just below Christchurch on the peninsula. Lots of cute little shops and beautiful cottages. We were going to stay there but was too expensive for what you get. We had lunch just by the lake which was very nice overlooking the lake and the snow topped mountains. The drive down was good with lots of mountain roads which is great fun to drive. Once we hit Ashburton, it was just a stop over again.
