Kuta was very different from Candi Dasa, much bigger & much louder. We prefered the quieter area! Although we did have 2 surfing lessons, which was good fun. Charlie was really good and really enjoyed it. I managed to stand up on the board (sometimes) but was covered in bruises by the end of the second day. We realised here that we are running very low on funds so we decided to see the volcano in Java but to skip the Gili Islands, Komodo & Flores, which was dissapointing but we have our hearts set on seeing alot of America & Canada & don't want to run out of money before we get there!
