In the morning we went to a temple which was really pretty & then watched a short show with a really wicked singer, it was a girl who must hve been about 14ish. After that we had go on the dragon boats, I think me & Charlie were the only ones paddling! Then we went to see the world largest construction project which is the damn being built on the Yangtze, it was more wide than than tall, still humongous tho & the surrounding area was really nice. We changed our plans slightly & decided to get the train from Wuhan to Shanghai as the journey was supposed to be 15 hours long so shorter than from Yichang. We got a coach from Yichang to Wuhan & made a chinese friend who gave us lots of food including egg yolk pies that we forced ourselves to eat out of politeness but they were actually really nice little cakes with custard cream inside!

The train journey from Wuhan to Shanghai actually turned out to be about 8 hours long & we are here in Shanghai at an internet cafe. We are just off to find our apartment looking over the skyline of Shanghai, sounds posh but we have learnt not to trust anything til we see it!!
