We had decided we needed a bit of time on a beach so had booked 3 days at a beach resort 25Km north of Cochi. It was a nice easy trip there and got to the resort at midday.We spent the rest of the day on the beach.

The resort was positioned between a freshwater lagoon and the Indian Ocean and was in an area that hadn't been developed at all.All the rooms were individual little huts positioned over or by water. We had to cross a little bridge to get to our room - the bathroom was interesting - it had a coconut tree growing through it.

We spent the next day there as well not doing a lot.Watched the Indians descend on the beach at sunset to watch the sun go down.They didn't lie on the beach at all - just went into the water - most of them still fully clothed!

Last day we went back to Cochi as we had got bored.Our first disaster struck as we got off the ferry - I banged my head and lost my sunglasses in the water.All Fran could do was laugh.
