THURSDAY 1ST MARCH - MONDAY 5TH MARCH 2007

DAY 1 - Arrived & had no probs gettin accomodation. Stayin on the other side of the island to Had Rin where the party's at but its a guesthouse on its own little stretch of beach which is nice (&cheap too which we weren't expecting).hired bike for day & went to Had Rin. Roads were steep & not to my likin so gaz went most of the way on his own - that boys got a death wish i swear! went to the market in thongsala did a bit of shopping then spent the nt drinking at the guesthouse with 3swedish guys.

Day 2 - drove to phaeng falls - a waterfall in a "national park". was pitiful - not much water with it being dry season. Didnt do much in the day but went to a Chinese religious nt to celebrate the end of chinese new yr. Went with the swedes + 2 new swede girls & jay - the dude who runs the Guesthouse. The men all walked across hot coals as some ritual to cleanse them ready for the new yr. 2of the sweish lads did it but gaz passed. women unfortunately were forbidden ;) Went out to a bar & all got merry. good night.

Day 3 - just chilled on the beach at the guesthouse. watched united beat liverpool (just!!!) - O'sHEA the LEG-END!

Day 4 - FULL MOON PARTY. spent the day sunbathin then hit Had Rin fot the biggest beach party in the world!was immense! Thousands of people just ravin at the many beachfront bars. drank & dance, drank & danced & ate quite a lot in between!was manic but soooooooooooooo glad we went. Drop inn br was where it was at - was awesome - really wanna do it all again. Danced till the morning & managed to crawl into bed as the clock struck 7am - QUALITY!

lAST DAY - after about an hours sleep we had to get up to catch the lift, ferry then night bus to Bangkok ready for our flight to Kuala Lumphur. Felt like absolute death!never felt so rough in all my life (well maybe the odd carelton ;) after travelling for over 24hours we made it to the airport in dire need of sleep!
