SATURDAY 10TH - WEDNESDAY 14TH FEBRUARY

Finally arrived in Koh Lanta 18 hours after leaving Bangkok.Arduous! First day was a bit of a let down.We stayed at Khong Klong beach, going off the advice of this guy wed met.Never trust a swede!The sea was really rocky n shallow-in a word crap! The day after we explored the island and found a beach which was a thousnad times better!In a cove with white sand and clear blue sea.Plus it was right at the end of the island so we had loads of the bech pretty much to ourselves. So the next day, snorkel in hand we moved to bungalows down that end and spent the next few days swimming with the fishes,soaking up the rays and playing frisbee. I learnt a valuable lesson-dont put cream on ur own back!U can tell where I had a go by the bright red strip on mine!

On one of the days I left kym to it and went on a Thai cooking course.Got lucky-I was the only one that day and had 2 on one tuition. So if anyone wants to sample delicious Thai cuisine when I get back give us a call. On the downside tho after showing her my skills I had to spend an hour trying to convince her I wasnt in fact Gary Rhodes!

On a more worrying note this travelling lark is changing me. I let this posh lad use my skype account and when he offered to give me 50 or 100 Baht I chose the 50.Any more incidents like this and Im gonna put myself on the first plane back!
