No hangover was the perfect way to start the morning after a lot of beer and cocktails form last night. We had to be up and ready to leave by 9:30 as we had our half day trip ahead of us. We all boarded the long tail boat, and headed to the snorkelling spot. The weather was very grey and overcast, and the sea was not as clear as I would have liked it, but still managed to see loads of fish, and corel. After about an hour and after drinking a couple of litres of salty water id had enough, and got back on the boat. At one point I swallowed salty water, and was nearly sick. Only good thing about me doing that, it the fish wouldn't have gone hungry.
Our next point of interest was the waterfall, it was the one I had already been to on the island, so I took over tour leader and we walked up to the stream with rocks. Better than when I visited last time, we climbed up the waterfall, taking loads of cool pictures on the way. The water was ice cold, the skies had cleared and the sun was beating down on us, so it was nice to stick your feet in the water. We then started to head back to the boat. Swimming on the beach, 6 of us, swam over to a random ladder that was leaving the sea, and going up onto the rocks, it was about 5 meters high or so, and it was a spot where you can jump! It was so cool, and after 5 jumps it didn't get boring. No one was hurt, which is a plus- however a few cuts from the radar sharp ladder that had things living on it! It was then a short ride back to bottle beach.
Lunch was thai food, and it was nice just being able to relax on the beach - snorkelling and the swimming had taken it out of me! We all met up again for dinner, it was going to be our last night in Koh Phangan so we wanted to make it a good one! Dinner was great, cocktails on happy hour for £2 each! Music, beach fire, and then my high light of the night.! A couple of the group and I decided we needed to have a go at this fire spinning, we had already watched the pros doing it, and we wanted to show of our talent, or at least burn ourselves.! I went first, and I really enjoyed it, I was able to spin it 360 degrees, and I didn't burn my self ones, there is a wicked picture that was taken with an SLR camera, with a long shutter speed- its my new profile picture when its uploaded. Tess, Edlyn and Laura were the others that had a go, considering we were first timers, we were all pretty good! Practise makes perfect and all that! I was just chuffed I didn't get burnt.
