I feel a bit bad after my blog yesterday, after the boat trip, and a great day today spent on the actual full moon beach, I like the island. Yesterday was a long day, but a great way to view the island, and the amazing landscape!
The picture is a little rubbish today, but its my view of the dorm from where I sleep, I'm pretty lucky as I'm tucked away in the corner, and luckily no one has said anything about me snoring.... Either their to polite or, their too wasted to hear me! This dorm has 16 beds, and only 4 people staying here! Sweet!
I fell I just need to talk about this one guy from France, at the full moon party he went down some kind of slide, and landed funny, and has broken, chipped or fractured a bone in his leg. It's all bound up, and he is always in his bed, watching the big bang theory... Talk about laughing out loud, he is driving me mad... So when in the dorm I keep headphones in so I can't hear him. He's staying for another 4 weeks before he goes home because his mum will go mad or something... (If I had of done that and not told my mum, she would have killed me!!... Plus if she'd have known, she would have flown out, and I would be recovering in a 5* resort not a hostel!)
Anyway, today I have spent the day in the sun on Haad Khontee beach, the full moon party beach! It is the nicest beach I have been too...! Perfect soft white sand, blue water, and a nice breeze..! I'm getting pretty good at putting sun cream on my back my self, with my double jointed shoulder! Lol... Had lunch in a nice bar that looked over the beach, fried noddles! Yummy. After eating headed back to my sunbathing spot, and went for a swim to cool off! It was amazing, the water is like bath water, so warm... I could only manage about another hour in the sun, before heading back to the air conditioned hostel... Showered as needed to get rid of the sand. but it looks like I've got a nice colour, no red bits!
I then decided to go and upload some more pictures on to Facebook, as I don't want my camera to get nicked and loose all my photos.! (Hope you like them) sadly I only managed to do Koh Tao, as I only wanted to be their an hour... But the Internet was so slow.
I then headed to a restaurant for dinner, a Mexican around the corner looked really nice, and I really fancied a chilli, it was bloody hot, but I liked it!! I was going to have an early night because my transport was booked to leave Koh Pha-ngan for Krabi. I then heard on the news about problems on the west coast, at the same time I had a number of messages about an earthquake in indonesia, which has put out a Tsunami alert across the west coasts of Thailand... My transport was then cancelled.... So changing my plans I will stay in Koh Pha-ngan for an extra night, and book a day trip that I wanted to do, but was running out of time. The day trip meant an early night anyway, But walking past my hostels bar, they were watching Mission impossible 4, which I hadn't seen and I remember the guys saying how good it was... So sat down, and had a couple of beers.! Really looking Forward to my day trip tomorrow!!
(When I got into bed, I looked at the BBC News, and everything had been ok'd on the west coast!!)
