Ok... Need to be honest, the alarm going off at 0600 this morning was a shock to the system! Showered, got my stuff together and headed to the meeting point half asleep! Got my equipment, and boarded Banzi the biggest Big Blue boat, we has a 45 minute boat journey to the Chumpon dive site. Got briefed about what we would be doing, 18 meters..! Whoop whoop... (At the point of going in the water I was just hoping my ears wouldn't mess about!) good news is they were fine. We did a back roll of the side of the boat.
It was a really great dive, and enjoyed every minute, saw so many fish, I forgot to say my buddy was Mette from
Denmark! After about 35 minutes underwater, we came back to the surface! Sailing onto dive site 2.! This one was called White Rock, the reason for the name is their is a massive white rock!! Lol
This has to be the best ever dive, you really do improve the more you do it. Saw a massive angle fish, and played with the Christmas tree worms! This time we didn't go so deep but saw so much sea-life. (my ears were fine!!)
By now it was about 11 o'clock and we headed back to the resort, it was really good, and the entire day we had a camera man following us!! (we get to watch it later- I'm sure I'm going to look like a whale!!). Ha ha.
Had some lunch in Big Blue, and needed to head back for a shower, and a sleep. I needed it. I think that might have been the best sleep I've had! Well got dressed and walked back up to the bar, getting ready to watch back the movie that had been made about us during the 2 dives this morning! I can honestly say it was the funniest thing I've seen, ours of course was the best video. I wasn't going to buy it, until I saw it... Plus it will be good to take home and show everyone!! I have also signed up for the advanced diving course as well!! So in a couple of days I will have done about 9 dives including a night and a wreck dive, plus will be able to dive down to 30 meters!
Had a few beers with Brock, Em and Steve, and then went out for a Thai curry before watching the entertainment at the Lotus Bar! I start again at 10am tomorrow, so it was a quiet one for me!
Today was the Full Moon Party on the island next to us, however I've decided not to go, and continue with my diving, it would have been good to go with a group of people, but didn't really fancy going alone. Anyway it might sound mean, but the weather was a bit rubbish- so not sure how much of the full moon they would have been able to see...!!
Night.
