With half a day left in Brisbane I didn't want to waste it. I was up packed and left the hostel at 10. Found somewhere to have breakfast and then had another look around the shops. Everywhere seemed to have sales going on. I ended up getting a few more bits. I can't help it. Everyone is saying how cold it is down south so I want to be prepared. They had some kind of music festival going on up and down Queen Street. I was sitting listening to them on a bench drinking a banana and honey milkshake that I got for free from people promoting a new brand! It was tasty, it was even better I got it for free. I walked around for about an hour before walking back to the hostel. I was thinking about going back to the brewery, but I decides to give it a miss because of the problems I have had the last two days. Plus I've had a beer there at the brewery that will have to be enough.
My free bus from the Bunk hostel to the greyhound station was leaving at 3pm I was waiting about 15 minutes before it left in reception. At about 3:05 I saw the bus drive off, I went to reception and asked if it was going to the bus station, and it was. But she has forgotten to look at the paperwork and see I was booked on to depart. They got hold of the driver and she did a U turn and came back for me., it's ok. I didn't miss my bus to Surfers Paradise.
I had a 2 hour journey today, and I slept most of the way, as we arrived it had just got dark. I was booked into the Sleeping Inn hostel and they picked me up from the bus station in a black LIMO! Thats what I'm talking about, travelling in style. It was only 5 minutes! But it was cool, managed to get a picture inside. Didn't have time to stick my head out of the sunroof! The hostel is nice, and my room of 8 is full. Everyone from either UK, France or Germany! I decided to go for the all you can eat dominos pizza that the hostel was doing $7! It was real dominos pizza. On the telly they had the inbetweeners series on. So I watched about 4 episodes! Classic, love that show.
When I returned to the room everyone was chilling in front of the once colour television now black and white, not sure what's up with the telly, but could do with being replaced! There wasn't anything every exciting on. There was 7 guys and a girl. We ended up watching One born every minute USA. You should have seen our faces. Then of course I had to say a few stories that Abi has told us, the main was cutting tough raw chicken with scissors! Everyone loved that story. At midnight we all went to bed.
