We jumped off the grweyhound bus for the final time and that in its self was a joyous feeling. What made it an even more pleasurable moment was when we realised that we would be staying with Rob and Sally, in a real house with real food!
However, this pleasure was soon ended by the realisation that sarah had left her purse on the coach. The coach which had just departed for the coach depo. After much deliberation we discovered that we had to go back and fetch it the following morning.
We arrived at Rob and Sally's house and immediatly fell asleep on our bed. We then washed ALL of our clothes. It was so good to have clean clothes briefly. We also had the use of Rob's 'Ute' which is a pick up truck. We further explored the mornington peninsula in this little ripper and we discovered quite alot of cool things.
The next day we headed into Melbourne to pick up sarah's purse. which wasn't going to be there until 7 at night! we spent the day wandering around the streets of Melbourne.
Melbourne is like a version of Sydney without the tourist attractions. In Melbourne we went to see the Foo Fighters, an AFL game which is just a glorified version of catch. and we spent the rest of the time relaxing in home luxurys.
Mornington is a really nice place, we didn't meet any aussies there just English people and retired people. Which meant it was really chilled out
Rob and Sally treated us like kings : ) thank you. Sorry for the brief blog. We ran out of time on the net!
