Yesterday, we drove up from Miami to Richmond Hill, Georgia. It took a little longer than the estimated 7 1/2 hours, because we took the road up the coast and stopped in at Daytona Beach and the Kennedy Space Centre @ Cape Canaveral along the way.

Unfortunately there were no scheduled launches while we were there, and the main area where all the action takes place is restricted anyway, for obvious reasons, so it was more or less just a drive-by. Cool nonetheless.

Tonight we'll head to the Shenandoah Valley area where we look forward to meeting and staying with the Hecks family - cousins of Dana Mulvany.
