Slowness can be caused by many things, like slowly following a moped gang dressed in leathers. But, probably more likely due to the tens of thousands of sheep that wander aimlessly around the pavement trying to meet their destiny, which might be a meat packing facility. The Faroes are a little more advanced than Montana as I think they frown on picking up road kill.
On the ride back, between the islands of Vagar and Streymoy, we drive 160 meters under the lake for 5.6 kilometers.
