Well i arrived here yesterday evening and am staying with Ashtons Uncle Bobby, his wife Shannon and two kids Paige and Dane. I arrived here in Cairns on Thursday 13th March. It was such a contrast from the Red Centre, not only in appearance but in climate also. Even though it was scorching hot at Uluru it wasnt humid, but here in Cairns as soon as i stepped off the plane you could feel the humidity and my hands immediately felt clammy from the hot moisture in the air. Hello Everybody, from Outback Australia!! Wow, Ayres Rock (or Uluru as its really called) is awesome!! In a way its wierd to think how amazing just a big rock can really be!!! I arrived here Monday 10th March, to 40oC heat and was amazed to actually see trees. Well Hidey-Hi everyone! Its been an awesome week, as David and I went upto Sydney last thursday and got back Tuesday night. We drove up along the coastal roads and did 2 overnight stops - one at a place called Lakes Entrance(still in the state of Victoria) and one in Merimbula which is just in New South Wales.
