Well i arrived here yesterday evening and am staying with Ashtons Uncle Bobby, his wife Shannon and two kids Paige and Dane. At the airport i managed to walk straight past Bobby as i was way too preoccupied talking to the fit bloke id been sitting next to on the plane. In my defense though...in Oz people collectiing you from the airport can come right up to the point where you step off the plane, so im not used to this. So as i was going down the escalator i looked up and there was Bobby standing at the top waving at me! hehe oops! But their house is beautiful! Has an upstairs which is quite rare, around Melbourne it is anyway as most huses are bungalows. Ive got my own room here with a double bed and walk in wardrobe, and bathroom next door! Their garden is nice with a big swimming pool.

Today Shannon dropped me off in the city before doinmg the school run and i got the CityCat which is a Catermeran ferry down the river into the city centre. I spent the day wandering round exploring ... and Laura, i got your Uggs!!! Was a really nice day and we then went up Mount Coot-Tha in the car with Paige and Dane to the lookout and had a milkshake and cake. Ive spent the afternoon playing with Paige whos 7 and Dane whos 5, and the dogs Simba and Maggie, and laughing at them whilst they played in the pool...the water was way too cold for me. Im having a great time and tomorrow morning am off to watch Dane in his first school sports event, a cross country race, with Shannon, and Bobby is in Melbourne on business so im there to cheer little Dane on instead.

Im back to Melbourne on friday, and then a week and im home. Really looking forward to getting back now and seeing everyone, i miss my family too much to stay away any longer.
