Northeast, Iceland
Our last full day of travel in the north of Iceland so of course we first went to a waterfall. Godafoss is the waterfall of the gods where the leader of the region threw his pagan gods into the water on conversion to Christianity. From here we wound around several more fjords & visited an historic turf covered farm & vicarage which has been made into a museum. The original rooms with dirt walls, floor & turf ceilings are still in place from the 1840's...
