Nourlangie - We made a relatively early start to beat the heat and drove into Nourlangie Rock. It's a beautiful bush/rock walk with incredible views, an ancient Aboriginal shelter and a very different type of Aboriginal rock art. The shelter has been dated at about 20,000 years old and people were still using it as recently as 1981.
We left there and had morning tea at the edges of the stunning Anbangbang Billabong, then drove back to Cooinda for lunch.
