Seadive restaurant. Tonight's special was the fish we adore. Lapu Lapu with garlic rice. The rice was delicious. The promise of seasonal vegetables was amusing. It was 3 pieces of fanned cucumber. The fish was nicely crisply breaded and still really succulent. The teriyaki sauce was nice but not surprised if it was from a jar. They love MSG and short cuts here. Basically ingredients are really hard to find too so it's to be expected.

Seadive restaurant. Alas the Filipino food kept living up to its v moderate expectations. A mixed seasonal vegetable salad with grilled chicken was 1/4 tomato, a few slices of cucumber and a heap of lettuce with dry chicken. Luckily I really like lettuce :). Dressing was store bought ranch.

Seadive restaurant. Where we stayed. First night to eat here. Corn soup. This starter was part of Eds main. Was a nice not too thin / not too thick consistency which I think is really important for corn or especially chinese chicken and corn soup. Bit under seasoned though so was a bit bland.

Street snacks after the hot springs. Quails eggs in a spicy tempura and spring rolls with a spicy soy dressing from our favourite stand. These snacks don't look much but are always tasty. Washed down with red horse which is crazy string at 7% and San Miguel light for me. Great tasting light beer which is similar to corona.

Street breakfast of pancakes and sweet sticky rice again. As good as the other day. Fluffy pancakes and densely sweet rice. Also ate it with some bitter pomelo which worked really well to balance the tastes.
