EDC music festival was super cool. Although I already had plans to go with one guy I met in Mexico City last time, there was of course an abundance of other travellers with the same mindset and a huge group of about 20 all got together to take the metro to the festival. The festival itself was pretty similar to Western music festivals with overpriced beer and merry music lovers all around. The main stage was embellished with an amazing colourful giant owl who's eyes changed colour, whilst another of the stages was essentially a pirate ship from which DJs performed surrounded by pink haired dancers. The night ends with an array of fireworks and the headline acts before we make our way back to the hostel and tumble into bed for much needed sleep.
