We left Mission Beach and drove up to Cairns. I really liked Cairns. There was a good shopping mall, a nice big lagoon to sun ourselves by and some good bars. From where I left off we left Rockhampton and stayed a couple of nights in a place called Mackay. There was not much to do there and not many people either. After leaving Brisbane we spent about a week in Noosa. As Lauren's Uncle, Aunt and cousins live there we stayed with them. They have a lovely house, made us very welcome and showed us around some of the local sites. Noosa is a really beautiful place and I can imagine it's a really nice place to grow up. On the river and at the beach there is always a lot of boats, jet skis, canoes and surfers. One day Lauren's Uncle took us out on his jet ski. It was so much fun....
