After leaving Brisbane we spent about a week in Noosa. As Lauren's Uncle, Aunt and cousins live there we stayed with them. They have a lovely house, made us very welcome and showed us around some of the local sites. Noosa is a really beautiful place and I can imagine it's a really nice place to grow up. On the river and at the beach there is always a lot of boats, jet skis, canoes and surfers. One day Lauren's Uncle took us out on his jet ski. It was so much fun. We went along the river into the sea where the waves were really big. I had never driven one before so it was really exciting. Its been really sunny here and with all the outdoor activity its more how I imagined Australia to be.

While in Noosa Lauren's cousin celebrated her 18th birthday. Along with some of her friends we all went to a nearby hotel for a big brunch. I made the most of it and went up about 6 times! It was really nice. Best of all, because Kelly worked there we got it all for free!

One day me and Lauren took a trip to Australia Zoo, Steve Irwin's zoo. It was a great day out and we got to see lota of animals. The Koala Bears are so cute and I can't believe how tame the kangaroos are. We bought some food for them and were able to go right up to them to pet and feed them.

The rest of our time in Noosa we spent organising our van. Lauren's uncle owns a garage and had an old working van which he was seeling us. We bought this of him, completely cleaned it and transformed it into our home for the next couple of months. It took a while to get organised with all the paperwork etc but our van was soon looking like new... well almost!

Noosa is a really nice place. I enjoyed it and it was nice to stay with a family for a while. We made the most of our week of luxury before our impending road trip.
