Today was Day 2 in Hobart, after arriving cold and wet we dried off and had a good sleep. Waking refreshed and ready to sort out my starting problems with my bike.
A call to Launceston Harley Davidson's service technician for a quick diagnosis, he suggested a new battery to see how it goes (although the current one is only 8 months old)
Launceston is a 5hr round trip so a call to the local motorbike shop had me a battery by 1pm. A short walk to collect and a huge walk up a massive hill to fit it, luckily we bumped into an elderly gentleman asking for directions to get some tools to fix the bike, he was kind enough to invite us in and lend some screwdrivers and Allen Keys.
Battery fitted and the bike fired up like new, fingers crossed this has the problem fixed.
We sat out the back of the accommodation to enjoy the sunshine with a local beer and decided to wash the bikes and complete all the washing.
A couple of hours washing the bikes and dinner in with left over pizza ready to ride out to Bicheno tomorrow morning.
Ride On 👊
