After disembarking the Spirit and completing all the covid checks by customs we set off for our first ride in Tassie. A short 30ish minutes to Penguin where we checked in and rushed to the local pub (Neptune) for a late feed of Parmas and beer.

Dad asked for a Carlton Draught to which the waitress looked at him all confused offering Boags or XXXX we chose to go with Boags as I don't drink cat piss.

The feed was great and the beer cold, then we called it an early night at our accommodation The Madson Retreat.

It was dark on arrival but this is the view we woke up to from our room, Tassie has certainly turned on the weather for our official first day
