FARFRUMWURKEN
Well dinner at the Steakhouse last night was pretty amazing for a $20.00 surcharge. In fact it was truly amazing - the rib-eye was exceptional. We went back to our table in the dining room after we finished dinner and they had subbed in two "new" people to our table which apparently upset one of our table mates from Phoenix - it was nice to have had them stick up for us despite the fact that we had abandoned them in the search for better quality food.
Today is just a sea day on board the Sapphire Princess, so it's relaxing and lazy day leading up the our second formal night. I must say that we clean up well, but from my perspective it's getting a little more difficult to see my feet as the dinners have been 5-course pretty much each night.
We've scheduled our Platinum B/W photos this evening before dinner so we're hopeful that we can get a few shots that are good enough to take away. The on board shows have been OK, but after seeing these as we have they're basically the same old dance and singing routines that we've seen before.
it was really a day for sun on board - we laid out and took a few naps but for the most part a pretty lazy day. I entered the Texas Hold'em Tournament so after dinner the 10 combatants sat down at the electronic table for battle. Unfortunately, I placed 4th and out of the money for 1st and 2nd, so no new watch this cruise.
We got the results of the photo session - she took 95 shots and she narrowed them down to 54. From there we had to review three shots at a time and say "keep" or "trash" - all in all we narrowed down to 5 keepers. Then the pricing component finally came out. For these five shots - digital negatives only - that means no photos, no frames - just the negatives for us to do what we want later the price was $1,250.00 U.S. - If we wanted the photo's too the price was $2,800.00 - needless to say our we thought "who looks at photos nowadays anyway" and with heading out in just another month or so these funds would be better spent somewhere in Europe so it was a pass.

Keli Holy Jeez! I'm in the wrong business! $2800?!?
Jim Lossin your touch at the Table Mr. F...? 4th. is way beyond 1st. loser....by the way, good call on the photo pass...$1250...$2800...I know Debs worth that but a picture with you in it as well would surely devalue it down to the normal Costco price of .35 cents or so , don't you think? Tee Hee
Sandra Awe. Common guys. I pay $279 plus tax for 20 digit photos for my Homes. Go for it! Enjoy!
