Overcast and windy, yet warm, with rain looming....a great day for finding Koalas and going on a hike along the Great Ocean Walk ! And Koalas we found ...lots of them ...in the wild. At the first place we stopped, we looked up and immediately saw a Koala high in the tree, snuggled into a fork having a snooze. They sleep about 20 hours a day so that they are able to digest the eucalyptus leaves they eat. Later in the afternoon on our way home, we saw them again ...

Ok...we have just continued our journey on the scenic route ! Great Ocean Road is just amazing ! We left Melbourne for Apollo Bay via Bells Beach, where the Billabong Pro is taking place over the Easter weekend. Lucky for us the Pros were out practicing on the most amazing waves.
