What an experience …what a privilege… to just be able to roam and experience so much beauty…without a worry or concern in the world. 2013 is here - and so is our Gap Year ! We have had this very distant dream, that when Ricki-Leigh and Dylan are out of school we would embark on that travelling GAP year. The Kids are now 18 and we're in our 50's, it's time to embark! The benefit of age ...a Gap Year with a Credit Card.

re: York ...continuedRoger Brings back so many memories.Played St.Andrews with a dear, dear friend back in the 60,s when we wnt to the pro shop and paid our green fees and played the O and A with maybe, maybe,! 20 other people on the goldf course.My godsons step brother then went on to study at St.Andrews with Kate and William(dare I call them that!!) and yes, so many memories. And today we did another one of those "doddle" cycles - collected the bikes at 10h00 and handed them back after 17h00 - up and down hills and then some very wet, muddy and bumpy single track. Down was even worse than up !! But luckily not too long. Fantastic scenery, country lanes and through forrests along the lakes. And when the sun comes out it is really pretty !
