Today we spent the day at London Zoo. On our way to the zoo we stopped at a cafe called Cote to have brunch. Paul ordered a cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast and tomatoes and I got the fruit with French yoghurt and a croissant. Our meals was served within minutes and the food was really yummy. When we arrived at London Zoo we watched the end of the penguin show and then visited the different animals. They had some animals that we don't have in our zoos in New Zealand, but I still think Auckland Zoo is pretty hard to beat. We stopped early afternoon to have ice cream and then visited the animals in the rainforest, as well as the otters and reindeer. They even have a real carousel at the zoo. It was so pretty. I didn't go on it, but I had my photo taken by it. The train ride home took roughly 40 minutes. So by the time we got home it was after 4pm. Fiona has arrived here now too so we all had dinner together and she's going to crash on the couch tonight. Paul threw some of his chicken bones and other leftovers from dinner over the fence to try to attract the foxes tonight. We're pretty sure that one is living in the overgrown section that backs onto their property. Paul saw it again this morning. I've decided I'm going to have an early night, since I've been getting so tired and we've got our big day trip to Stonehenge and Bath tomorrow. I'm going to cuddle up in bed now and read my book on my iPad. Will write some more tomorrow night xx
