Today was another big driving day. We stopped in a town called Heidelberg. Bec told us about the student biscuits. We found a small shop that sold them so I bought a couple of twin packets. I had a pretty low key day today. We went into town this morning. It was raining and all the shops were shut, being a Sunday so there wasn't a lot to do. We walked into the main square and took a couple of photos of the town clock and the fountain. We were all huddled under umbrellas, trying to keep out of the rain so decided to find the beer hall. Today was another driving day. It wasn't as long as some of our other days though. In the afternoon we stopped at the Dachau concentration camp. It was a very sombre atmosphere. The camp itself is huge. I didn't really think about how big it would be. A lot of the camp has been destroyed, but there are still several buildings that are still intact.
