It was raining when we drove into town today. We did a driving tour around the famous ring road and Bec pointed out a few of the main sites e.g. Parliament buildings, statues and a memorial for all the Jews that were killed in World War 2. Today we had another big driving day. We were off to Austria!! Austria is another place I've been really looking forward to visiting. Tonight and tomorrow night we are staying at the Wombat Hostel in Vienna. I'm looking forward to exploring Vienna, but am more excited about visiting Tyrol and seeing the alpine region of Austria. Today we had our free day in Venice. We caught a boat into the centre of Venice in the morning with the rest of our group. First we walked through St Marcus Square to our glass blowing demonstration. The guy made a horse within minutes. We were told that it takes twenty years for someone to become qualified and that they often start learning from as young as ten years old. It's 4.38pm and we're still stuck on the ferry. We've had to move out of our cabins, but it looks like it might still be a couple of hours until we dock. Today we had a free day in Corfu. I was feeling really unwell so stayed in our room until we had to check out. Once we checked out just before 12pm we put our bags into storage for the day.
