We finally made it to London!! It took us ages to get through customs. Paul got through really quickly because he travelled on his Dutch passport, but I had to wait in such a long line. We arrived safely in Bangkok after our first long flight. We travelled 9,940km in just over twelve hours. As soon as you walk out of the airport you can feel the humidity. We're now about three hours into our first flight to Bangkok. I'm thinking that the combination of only having a couple of hours sleep last night and the long flight today is going to make for a very long day. Tonight is my last night in New Zealand. We're staying at Dad's tonight because he's taking us to the airport in the morning. Gail cooked us homemade fish and chips for dinner. They were really yummy. It was nice to be able to have a real Kiwi meal before we left. I also had a few glasses of L&P. I'm going to miss not being able to drink that for the next couple of months. We still have lots of packing to finish off. Hopefully we're not up too late.
