Today was our first day in Holland. Our first stop was a cheese farm and clog maker's house. A girl in traditional clothing met us at the front and explained to us how the wheels of cheese are made. After that we walked through into the second room where we were given a demonstration of how clogs are hand crafted. We were then given time to walk around, purchase any goods we wanted and sample the different types of cheese. That was my favourite part. I love chees...

Today was another big driving day. We stopped in a town called Heidelberg. Bec told us about the student biscuits. We found a small shop that sold them so I bought a couple of twin packets. Heidelberg is also known for selling gummy bears, especially beer flavored gummy bears. There was a shop that just sold gummy bears so I bought some packets of those too. Last night we all had a pretty big night. Let's just say some of us pulled up better than others. We were all up bright and early to head up to Jungfrau Mountain. We went on a train ride up a cog railway to the top of the mountain. It is the highest train track in the world and the highest point in Europe (3454 m high). Today we had another driving day. We left Hopfgarden and headed to the Swiss Alps. It was another full driving day, but we stopped at Liechtenstein and Lucerne on the way. Liechtenstein is 160 square kms, making it the fourth smallest country in Europe. You could pay €3 to have your passport stamped at a small ticket office.
