Last night we went upstairs to the top level of the hotel. The restaurant, bar and pool are all up there. We arrived at the restaurant just as the sun was starting to set. It's 6.55pm and we've just arrived at the President Hotel in Greece. We caught a taxi from the airport, which cost €38. At first the taxi driver seemed a bit grumpy, but he thawed out during the drive and was quite chatty in the end. His English was pretty good as he lived in Australia for nine years. Today is our last day in Holland. Around mid day we rode our bikes up to the petrol station and bought some snacks. Then rode back to what has become our picnic spot, a park bench on the edge of the bike lane that looks out into the paddocks. I ate my ice cream and chippies while enjoying the sunshine. This morning we took our boxes to the post shop to send back to New Zealand. Mine weighed 7kgs and Paul's was just under 10kgs. As long as it was under 10kgs it only cost us €58.30. This afternoon Heidi and Frans took us to the markets. It was a really sunny afternoon so we had a wander around the different stalls and then bought an ice cream.
