We arrived at Corfu in the morning. Once the ferry docked we got back onto the coach and had roughly a 30-40 minute drive to Corfu Village. We had arrived early, but were able to check into our rooms not long after arriving. We walked up the steep hill to our room. We had the cutest, typical Greek room. It was painted white with bright blue doors and shutters. From our balcony, through the trees we could see the ocean. We spent the afternoon swimming in the pool and had burgers and chips from the pool bar. At dinner we were shown different ways of how we could make our togas out of a sheet for the toga party tonight. We collected our sheets from reception after dinner, got ready and then went up to the Canadian girls' balcony to put our togas on and have a couple of drinks before going downstairs. The toga night was a lot of fun. We met some kiwis from Christchurch too. One of the guys told us that the girl that was with them had lost her mum in the Christchurch earthquake. They were all on their gap year. When we have themed nights we get to mix with other contiki groups, which is a lot of fun too. Tomorrow we're going out on George's boat.
