We took a nice train ride from Marylebone St Station to Bicester today, with the goal of a days bargin hunting at the designer discount village. Sally has been hunting for a new handbag throughout our travels and here there was plenty of choice. Her favorite was on sale at 50% off, a mere £700. Ian wanted to check out the shoes at Dune, so we started the day at Covent Garden. Being a bit overcast today we thought it might be time to introduce Tom to how the other half live with a trip to Knightsbridge for Harrods! We love the food halls best, can't leave without sampling some of the chocolates and cold meats, not to mention the Krispy Kreme donuts. We also visited their Christmas Shop. Ok, time for a bit of the touristy thing so we headed of to Hyde Park Corner from where we walked down to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard. Tom thought it was a lot of effort just to change two guards! A leisurely stroll down the mall past Cook's statue and through the Arch to Nelson's Coloumn in Trafalgar Square. And let the real shopping begin! Let's start with Oxford Street and one of our favorites, Debenhams, we did stop for lunch in John Lewis. A bit disappointing really we haven't found any real fashions this time around, it seems to be all jeans and t-shirt. A bit of a walk down Regeant Street to Piccadilly Circus and along to Leiscester Square to check out the shows. Then back to Sheperds Bush for a Lebanese dinner.

Another relaxing day with a little shopping in Ealing, checking out the shops we didn't get to yesterday, followed with a delicious roast cooked by Ian and finished off with a lazy evening in front of the telly.
