We have finally made it to one of the islands, which I have to say is just beautiful. Koh Tao is only a small island but has plenty of restaurants and bars to keep entertained. Both Jason and I have decided to do our scuba diving course which is done over 4 days. We have started to do the theory part and yesterday we were in the pool with all the equipment on and learning some of the basics. Have to say didn't like it much at first as didn't like the feeling of breathing underwater, but after a few failed attempts and a few panic attacks I am getting there. We were meant to do our first sea dive today as a tester but Jason has the flu so we are leaving it for a few days until he is better before we resume our course. So watch this space and I will let you know if we both do ok and we can then carry on diving during our travels. The accommodation here is lovery...and for those pet lovers there are loads of stray dogs around but they seem to be enjoying life as beach dogs as every morning they are out there swimming and playing with anyone who will take notice of them...its a dogs life! I am enjoying soaking up the sun, sea and sand at the moment and of course perfecting my tan...which is a must after all! So whilst your all working away just think of us with our feet up, or bobbing around in the sea trying to master scuba diving...haa haa Next update will be from one of the other islands...
