My last postcard was in Koh Tao an island on the East coast of Thailand. We moved onto Phuket which was a lively town and beach resort. We stayed on Karon Beach, which was full of bars with call girls....I suppose you could put it that way. Very much a typical resort, and plenty of old men with young Thai girls on their arms for company. So for those desperate men out there the place to go is Phuket!!!! Phuket was very much over priced compared to the rest of Thailand, which wasn't too good for the budget....but nevermind. Our hotel was clean and comfortable and the people were nice...well very nice to Jason as of course he is a man and they wanted his body! I did sell him for one Baht, but the final exchange never happened. We then went to Phi Phi island, which was a rough journey considering we were both hungover and had to get up at 6am...so didn't do much for the stomach Phi Phi is still trying to get over the Tsamuni as not all the places were open and the beaches still needed a lot of clearing. However its a lovely little place. We spent one of the days walking round the island via the rocks on the sea front...and only managed to get part way round....but there is only so much one can do in one day. From Phi Phi we got a boat to Krabi and stayed in the town centre. Stayed at a lovely lodge that Jason's parents peviously stayed at, and kindly paid for as a xmas present...so thank you. The weather wasn't great whilst in Krabi so we did spend a lot of time walking around....oh but we did manage to purchase our snorkels and goggles...so thats alright then. From Krabi we then got a boat to Malaysia.....yes we are in another country now...one hour from Satun, which is a port in Thailand. Right our thoughts on Thailand......food is good...with loads of spices etc, the people are nice, but the tours were not that good and over priced compared to Vietnam. And I have to say once you have seen one beach you have seen them all...although it was interesting to see Phi Phi after the Tsamuni. It is beautiful and I expect with more money and if on holiday it would be better...but of course on a budget and only have so much time in one place. Anyway I think thats it. Oh reason for delay in updating the site is because of bad internet services......ahhhhhhh
