Well it's been an interesting few weeks even though we personally haven't done much. The war started in the Ukraine and we all tested positive then recovered and are now negative. We isolated on board for 7 days then it seemed OK for us all to go out again. No advice as to what strain it was so we assume Omricon. Peter and Cora were quite flu like for 4 days and each in bed. Me, just a cough and sneezes and Kiki next to nothing. I resisted the urge to use isolation as an excuse to drink more and actually went so far as to have an AFW!
We ae keeping an eye on the Ukraine situation in case we need to leave or something but so far nothing alarming for this area. It has put the potential Black Sea Rally off though, of course.
We used the time for shipboard Make and Mend, the weather was boringly cold and wet so no trouble staying in. Ken from Antares 11 brought us provisions for a few days. He is also looking after his wife Ei Loo who tripped over her hiking boot laces and has broken her patella! They've had to move into the Yacht Club Hotel for 3 weeks.
We are off back to Kos (Greece) at the end of the week. It seems that the water maker repair guy can only get that close to Turquie for some reason and anyway it fits in with our plans to cruise around some Greek Islands for a few months - probably the Rhodes area.
