Last night we stopped South of Taupo in Turangi, we had a few drinks and watched our skydive dvds a couple of times!!! Today we drove about 3 hours to Wellington, ready to get the ferry tomorrow morning. When we arrived we parked up and took a walk around the city centre. Wellington isnt that nice, it is quite old looking and a bit run down, it isnt what we would all call a city but we had a good afternoon here. Further out of the city is nicer and where there are some really nice apartments and houses.

Once it started to get dark, we drove around trying to find somewhere to pull over and sleep for the night. We ended up sleeping in the ferry car park which didnt cost. So we just pulled up and slept here, we have to wake up at 6am to get the ferry.
