Our first night in Collin was Ok! The bed is actually quite comfy and its really good having the dvd player as we bought 30 dvds in Bali as there are no copyrights and they are really cheap!
We woke up early and both needed the loo, not being near one meant we had to find one! So we pulled out little curtains back and drove back to Nobbys Beach to use them there. We made our bed back into benches and using baby wipes had a shower sort of!! We then had breakfast looking out over the harbour, The weather is beautiful today! We left Newcastle and headed for Port Macquire. On the way though we saw signs for tobogganing!! So we pulled into this park in Salamander where we paid $3 each to enter the park, then we had 3 toboggan rides each which was really good, and loads of fun! After we played 19 holes of mini golf...and I (Amy) won !!!!!! I finally beat Mike at something!!! So after stopping here for a while we continued to Nelson Bay. We found a little bay right on the coast, so we parked up here and cooked noodles for lunch! We got our little chairs out and chilled here for a while as it was really sunny and warm. Everyone who walked past stopped to talk, they are so friendly here!
We wanted to stay here for longer as apparently dolphins go past at around 4 everyday but we need to make some distance today so packed up and continued to Port Maquire! After a couple of hours drive we arrived here! It was dark by now so couldnt see too much but managed to find a good caravan/campsite for only $20, so we pulled up here. Tonight we sort of had a barbie, but in a frying pan on our stove...and we didnt have shrimps, we had burgers!! Dinner was really good, we had beers and wine and chilled out with a dvd!! Goog times!! One of our best days to date!!!! Collin is awesom, lol!

Due to main road clousers because of the severe flooding, we had to spend a second day in here. So we spent most of the day watching surfers and driving around in Collin to see what was about! We were also on a mission to buy more gas bottles for our stove, after about 5 shops we found some and bought 6 bottles. An hour later we then realised they were too long so we took them back and managed to find the right ones in a shop near by! We stayed in a different campsite tonight, right on the beach. Around here there are loads of rocks and they are all decorated by the public, every rock is painted in a different way. We wanted to do one but couldnt get any paint! When we pulled into the campsite we saw another jucy camper, so we got chatting to the couple who picked up and were dropping off in the same place as us, and they were also called Amy and Mike !!!!! So we spoke to them for a while, had some drinks then went to bed.
