hello all! well wow... today has been a fast paced day really!!! itinerary: 8.00: alarm goes off 8.00 + 10 secs: rolls out of bed and switches alarm off 8.10: has shower 8.25: nah i'm only kidding don't worry lol i wont go into that much detail but it certainly was productive and i certainly did wake up at 8.00 - scary huh! :oP i got up and i went to neelsie (the main student union bit) and i posted a couple of things off and went to the pharmacy in there to see if by any chance they might have the malaria pills i now need for my trip. amaaaazingly enough they did, what was really strange was that i simply walked up to the counter expecting to have to have a prescription or all kinds of documentation and she just said "how long are you going to be away?... ok that's going to be 24 tablets, 2 days before and a week after... that'll be R995 but i'll order them in and you can collect them at 3.30! i was like HUH?!?!?!?! i wasn't complaining tho (apart from the price obviously but i was sort of expecting that lol)... then i went and photocopied all my documents and handed them in to the adventure centre to finalise my booking situation. we talked about a couple of "after routes" i could take and made sure of whether my accommodation for that extra night was included etc etc etc and it turns out it is so that's all good. basically what with all my running about and planning and such i am now pretty much organised... i'll show ya; 10th - leave stellenbosch to go to CT night of 10th - *still to book a hostel* 11th - catch intercape bus up to windhoek and trandfer to the next bus to swakopmund 12th - arrive and *still to book accommodation for the nights of the 12th and 13th* 13th - see above 14th - tour 15th - tour 16th - tour 17th - tour 18th - tour 19th - tour 20th - tour 21st - tour 22nd - tour 23rd - tour 24th - tour 25th - tour 26th - tour ends night of 26th - booked into extra nights accommodation 27th - extra day and night 28th - fly back to joburg night of 28th - stay at 'airport backpackers'... have arranged for them to do transfers to and from airport 29th - fly to port elizabeth on kulula airlines at 16.00 afternoon of 29th - arrive and check into jikeleza lodge hostel with transfers 30th - catch baz bus booked on with first stop at plettenberg bay AND TAKE IT FROM THERE! :oD impressed lol.... well i'd better go and pick up those malaria pills i ordered earlier - will update more later. love y'all emily xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx oh i forgot - i am delaying my flight for a week, i've decided - so your gonna have to wait just a LITTLE bit longer to see me! :o( x
