Another really early start which was hell but meant that we arrived in Kaikoura before lunchtime which was really good. Went to see some seals which were laying in the carpark, they were massive. Some people went whale watching and swimming with dolphins but it seemed really expensive for what it was so we didn't bother. Staying in a hostel called 'The Lazy Shag' which was actually really nice with ensuite and a lot of space. Went for lunch in the main town...

Up really early as had to be on the bus for 7.15 so literally a case of grab everything throw it in any bag available and leave. Really long drive today so quiet good that starting early. Stopped off to see Mt Cook which was pretty cool as for once it wasn't covered in cloud. Took some great photos and stopped to have lunch. I have been really ill for the last few days, I reckon its a form of freshers flu as everyone on the bus has seemed to go down with it...

Milford Sound. Really beautiful but didn't really enjoy the early start as had only had a few hours sleep. After a four hour drive there and some great commentry from the bus driver, we arrived at the dock and boarded the ship. Free buffet lunch which was great as we all stocked up on fruit and sandwiches for the next day. Note; never ever give backpackers free food, we go wild! Beautiful day. Had a fergburger for brekkie with the girls and had a really chilled out day. Sat and watched a movie, lounged in the park and had icecream. It was even warm enough to sunbathe! Met Rob and went to Fernhill which was a great place.

Bit of a s***ty day, felt ill and everyone was having a lazy day while I wanted to get out there and see everything. Jo and Nicole arriving today though which will be really nice as I have missed them. Ended up having a really good night out and a great laugh which I think I was in need of for the last few days. Ended up staying in their room as everyone in my room had an early night and even got a hug off the bouncer.
