Ok firstly, i am very behind on my blogs and will update the rest very soon. Secondly i am in Australia, i arrived on 13th from Phuket via Singapore for one night. Singapore was my first night in a hostel since leaving the girls and going it alone, it was very strange and took me hours trudging around with my backpack to find a place. It was cramped and i was the only English/white person there but for one night i had found a roof over my head. I ventured out a little but was tired and had no clue what there was in Singapore other than markets and huge skyscrapers. I rode the tube aswell, figured it out all by myself, and i used to get lost on the London Underground. It also had a "viewing wheel", an exact replica of the London eye.
Early next morning i flew to Sydney, i sat in a row of 3 between two other lone women travelling. I had booked accomodation in Kings Cross so got the tube there and arrived quite late in the evening to find that i was sharing a room with a 60yr old male kiwi, an irish lass and a frenchman. I went straight to bed but that night the 2 younger ones came in drunk and the Kiwi guy used rather a choice of words in order to tell them to go to bed, felt like i was back in school or something. Whilst there i visited the harbour and got a view of the opera house and bridge, i was loving it! The sun was beating down and it was beautiful. I had arranged to meet Karuna(a girl from Whitstable) but got so lost, in my defence the street we arranged to meet on was like Oxford Street in London. I really enjoyed Sydney, although i visited Bondi beach and was disappointed, way too crammed and again could find a beach like that in Spain. I flew to Adelaide on 16th Jan(as it was much cheaper than getting buses, and faster) and have arrived in a lovely seaside town called Glenelg. I could live here permantlely, i love it and ive only been here a few hours, its so peaceful and relaxed. I feel at home and now even have an Oz bank account and a Oz mobile. I am an Aussie! Its even got a little tram going to and from the City (which takes about 20mins to get to) I have yet to explore but it is here in Adelaide that i want to work untill late March, i will then travel back to Sydney, possibly via Melbourne and meet Dom. He has booked his flight out here and is here for 7weeks!! So i will explore more of Australia then.
