Day 287 (Wednesday 17th September 08)

6am start to move out of the way and go and wait outside Wicked garage. Had some breakfast and looked through some brochures while we waited. The mechanic turned up at about 8:30am and had a look straight away. The mechanic and Mark went out for a drive so he could see what the problem was. Scary driving by the mechanic but at least he could see what the problem was. Once back at the Wicked garage he fiddled around and fixed it after a while. Another drive to check it was all ok and we were on our way again. Headed back up North, stopping at Aldi on the way to do some food shopping. Went for a look at the Glass House Mountains which were impressive but the weather not great. Then looked around Beerwah and soon found out it was a very small place and probably nowhere for us to stay the night so carried onto Caloundra stopping in a rest area for something to eat. Had a look around Caloundra and found somewhere to use the internet. Spent most of the afternoon in their so we could also charge the video camera. Went off to find somewhere to cook and ended up parking up by the beach for the night.
