Day 309 (Thursday 9th October 08)
Again a very cold night's sleep even with thermals on! Headed on to Wollongong. On our way drove up to Mount Keira to see the lookout which was an awesome view. In Wollongong parked up by the lighthouse and while we were boiling water for the a Lemsip a couple of firemen turned up to test out their Skylift on their truck. Watched that for a while and then went for a walk. Went off to find somewhere to fill up our water as we were completely out and then back to the lighthouse. As we were about to wash up our things from lunch a guy with really loud music pumping out of his stupidly low car started chatting loudly on his mobile about how he had missed his parole and he was going back inside soon. Once he was off his mobile he then started talking to us about how he was just back from England. He then informed us of how cheap a line of cocaine was over in England compared to out here. We said we weren't into that so didn't have a clue! Mark took little interest in this conversation but he still didn't get the hint so he was glad when he finally left! Watched the world go by for a while up there then started planning what we had time to do in our month left in Australia. Down to Stuart Park to read our books and do some study. Cooked up some food and then parked up for the night. Unfortunately chose a loud area where all the Hoons hang out with their loud music and noisy cards!
