3rd - 7th july

arrived in valencia at around 1300, and such a stinking hot day and it took us a 20min walk to get to our hostel from where the bus drops us off.that afternoon was spend sleeping and resting and walking short distances around valeeancia. first impressions was an old run down city with lots of charcter and loads of parsonality. unfortunatly we arrived at siesta time, so everythin was shot for the next cople of hours. easy dinner and straight to bed.

the next day was spent riding around the amazing city of valencia, there is an old river that was made into a park, crazy. was at last a couple or kilometers. was beautiful riding the entire lenght to be rewarded by the dustiestbeach i have ever seen. another boiling hot day, around 34 degrees, trying to get as little dust on us as possible and swimming in the greenest/warmest water i have ever seen. takes about an hour to ride to the beach to we rode back for a siesta and to get out of the sun, only to return a couple of hours later to check out the celebrations down at the beach. again, people everywhere, surrounded by spanish beats and life.

next day was even hotter, again, short strole around the city then the rest of the afternoon catching up on what i thought was internet chores only to get distracted for a couple of chours chatting to me sister, i am loving the convienience or facebook but it is just so dam addictive. that night went out to a local bar with afew people from the hostel to hear some real authentic spanish music which was amaing, i really need to learn how to salsa, its been great goin out listening to music without drinking (detoxing from the pub crawl in barcelona, no drinking till pamploma).

another collection of artwork at another museum today, (retreat from the heat) then up the tallest cathedral of valencia for the best views ever then out for an authentic paella in the main square of valencia. what a day, what a great city, and what great experinces of spain i have had here.

on the bus tomorrow headed to madrid. cant wait for the next adventure. xoxoxox
