Well the lady boy show was .... interesting haha :P it was done as a cabaret show and some of it was good especially lady boy Beyoncé (yes she/he exists!). They're all really pretty though, it's hard to believe they were once guys, but it definitely doesn't help with your self-esteem being stood next to them :P
So today has just been a nice, chilled day, stayed in bed for a bit reading on my kindle (finished two books already and it's only day 3, I'm going to need to get some more) then got up, me and my roommate missed breakfast so we went to McDonalds instead for lunch. Spent the rest of my time relaxing in my room with my roommate - she's called Lauren - reading, chatting about life and colouring in our adult colouring books (I'm not the only one whoo!). She's really nice and so far we get along well and have so much in common! Making friends out here has definitely helped with the whole homesickness issue - feeling much better now :)
Got a lovely long 12 hour coach journey (urghhhh) tonight up to Chiang Mai but at least tomorrow I get to see and work with the elephants :D sooooo excited!!
Anyway off to have a look round the market now, might even treat myself to a hair braid, then find somewhere for dinner :P my backpack is all packed now ready for the journey tonight and we don't leave until 9pm so I have plenty of time :) bye for now! E x
