Enjoyed a nice lie in today - getting far too used to these, will have to find a job that doesn't involve early morning starts :P haha! The wifi is playing up again so not sure when I'll actually be able to post this blog :/ once I was up and ready I got a taxi to Khao San road to do a bit of market shopping (love a good market unlike some people I know - right Fraser? You would love it here ;P). Everything I brought I managed to convince the sellers to sell it to me slightly cheaper then the price they were asking for - result! Got a nice couple of dresses, tops, some jewellery and even splashed the cash slightly on an Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie (still cheaper then the real deal which was fine by me). After spending most of my money I decided it was probably best to head back. I'd written down the address of the place I was staying in but unluckily most taxi drivers can't read English and no one seems to have a sat nav, but thankfully the 5th taxi driver I spoke to (that's right the 5th one -.- !!) recognised the street name and dropped me off outside the shopping mall which was only a short walk away. When I was eventually back I made a start on washing my clothes (down to my last pair of underwear - desperate times haha) so my bathroom rails are now covered in wet clothes - fingers crossed they won't take long to dry since I leave on Tuesday! Spent the rest of the evening reading - not much else to do when there's no wifi! Let's hope it works again tomorrow :) E x
